| "Commercial*
Poetizing" |
| author: Paul Smith |
In the reverberating collapse of thoughts
to visualize picturing of times past of
scenarios that were pre-packaged yet still
managed
to come undone
into visual age and memory
to the rhythm of a credit card in self-imagined
states of
potency
snapped on the counter
Turning away
Turning away from the public
Letting its self-perpetuating babble dribble
on.
This is history
And this is a cell-phone call from the mythic
lower rungs of hell.
The disdain for audiences
and total contempt
for customers is the
only possible salvation left. |
